This message is directed to members of the 2009 Mr. Big Stuff Krewe.  Zulu coconuts can be purchased through Winchee Mercadel at (504) 270-6163.  This Coconut vendor hollows and shaves the coconuts, then paints them in various colors,  He paints the coconuts in black, gold, purple, silver, red or white.  The cost per sack of 50 (painted but undecorated is $65.00.  The cost per sack of 50 of painted decorated coconuts is $125.00.

We recommend that you visit his facility located at 2882 Allen Street in New Orleans.  Again, he can be reached at (504) 270-6163.

Please note that YOU CANNOT HAVE COCONUTS ON THE FLOAT IF YOU ARE POSITIONED ON THE UPPER LEVEL OF THE FLOAT.

Also please note that you will be responsible for placing your sacks of coconuts at your float position.  coconuts will not be delivered to the float by the vendor or by the Krewe.
